To register anything apart from a new .com, .net, or .org domain name, see this page. Goto Network
Solutions/InterNIC web site. They have recently changed their web site.
Follow these instructions instead.
- To register a new .com, .net, or .org domain name, you first need to check to see
whether it is available. A domain name consists of "example.com" ONLY. You
should not be checking for "www.example.com" or "http://www.example.com".
Enter your domain.
- If when you check the domain name it doesn't exist, (the search returns "no
match") then the domain is free and able to be registered by you. Follow the
instructions provided to register the new domain (NOT RESERVE OUR PARKING)
- To complete the form, fill in the details it asks for - most are self explanatory.
